Product detailed description
Cascara is actually the peeled and dried skin and flesh of the coffee cherry. It was previously banned from import into the EU because of a lack of research confirming its healthiness. However, since around September 2021, cascara has been confirmed as safe, so it can finally be imported. This is the first time that we have had cascara in our hands and it is really great and, more importantly, of super quality. In the same way that Brazilian coffees stand out for their chocolatelly sweetness, this cascara stands out for its honey sweetness. It contains about a quarter of the caffeine of coffee.
Recipe for preparation
- 4 grams per 100 ml of water
- Water at 95 degrees
- Infuse for about 5-7 minute
