We are Dalia Coffee, officially operating as the legal entity Dalia Coffee s.r.o., Company ID No. 22338187.
We operate an e-shop at www.daliacoffee.cz.
For the provision of our services, the sale of goods, and the operation of our website, we process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).
I. Processing of personal data
A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you enquire about our products and services, we will process the contact details you provide to us, mainly through the enquiry form. These include: first name and surname, telephone number, and e-mail address.
For what purpose?
We use these details to contact you for further communication regarding goods and services.
On what legal basis?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps taken prior to entering into a contract at your request.
How long will we process the personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 3 years from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data in the event of a purchase
If you purchase from us, we will process the data you provide to us. This mainly includes billing details: first name, surname, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
For what purpose?
We need to process personal data in order to perform our contract – to deliver our goods or services to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you about the status of your order, complaints, or your questions.
We will also process personal data in order to comply with our legal obligations (in particular for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and other related matters).
On what legal basis do we process personal data?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with our legal obligation.
How long will we process the personal data?
For the duration of the provision of our service and then for 3 years from the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.
C. Newsletters (commercial communications)
If you are a purchasing customer and have not objected during the purchase, we may use your e-mail address to send you our news and updates.
On what legal basis?
This is permitted under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, provided that you did not refuse this during the purchase.
How long will we process the personal data?
For 3 years from your last purchase. You may unsubscribe at any time via e-mail or by contacting us at: prazirna@daliacoffee.cz.
D. Purchase ratings and reviews
If you purchase from us and leave a product review on our e-shop, we will process your name (and possibly surname) and the text of your review for the purpose of displaying it to other customers.
For what purpose?
Publishing authentic reviews helps other customers choose goods and helps us obtain feedback on our products.
On what legal basis?
This processing is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in building the credibility of our e-shop.
How long will we process the personal data?
Your review will be displayed on the website for as long as we offer the product, or until you ask us to remove it by e-mail at: prazirna@daliacoffee.cz.
E. Processing of e-mail address in the event of an incomplete purchase (abandoned cart)
If, during the purchase process, you enter your e-mail address into the cart but do not complete the order, we may send you a reminder about the incomplete purchase.
For what purpose?
We want to make your purchase easier and remind you of the goods you left in your cart.
On what legal basis?
This processing is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
How long will we process the personal data?
We will retain your e-mail address for this purpose for a maximum period of 2 years. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the e-mail.
II. Who has access to the data?
Your data remains with us. However, certain companies and other persons work for us and may access the data because they help us operate our e-shop. These are:
- the operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., with registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, Company ID No. 289 35 675, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25 395)
- companies involved in the delivery of goods (PPL CZ s.r.o., Zásilkovna s.r.o., Direct Parcel Distribution CZ s.r.o. (DPD), Česká pošta s.p. (Balíkovna))
- companies involved in payment processing (GOPAY s.r.o.)
- the provider of e-mail marketing services (Leadhub s.r.o.)
- providers of analytical and marketing tools: Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited – for the purposes of traffic measurement and ad targeting (based on cookie consent)
- the provider of the chat tool (Smartsupp.com, s.r.o.)
We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.
III. What else you should know
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer in our company.
There is no decision-making based solely on automated processing or profiling within our company.

V. Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data
The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information on what personal data we process about you, request access to such data, have it updated or corrected, request restriction of processing, obtain a copy of the processed personal data, request deletion of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases exercise your right to data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you believe that we do not handle your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or to bring your claims before a court.
